University of Rochester Medical Center’s Recovery Center of Excellence

For the redesign of the "Learn" section of the Recovery Center of Excellence website, I focused on creating a calming, community-centered experience. I chose a green and white color palette to evoke a sense of tranquility and renewal, which aligns with the center's mission of healing and recovery. Green represents growth and calm, while the white space adds a clean, uncluttered feel, making the content easier to understand.

I simplified the navigation to ensure that visitors can easily find the information they need without feeling overwhelmed. Additionally, I integrated community-focused elements like featured content and current users map to promote engagement and support. Throughout the design process, I prioritized accessibility, making sure that the layout and features were inclusive to everyone. The result is a warm, inviting space that encourages connection and makes visitors feel supported while supporting their communities.
